I was born in 1968, in Amasya. After completing my middle and high school education at TED Ankara College, I received my undergraduate education in the department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Hacettepe University and received my postgraduate education in the Department of Nutrition and Metabolism of the Faculty of Medicine of Cerrahpaşa. I started my professional career, through the majority of which I worked as a dietitian, at Ardahan Public Hospital. Then, I worked as an intensive care, clinical, social nutrition dietitian at Kartal Koşuyolu Training and Research Hospital Highly Specialized in Cardiology, as a diabetes dietitian at Şişli Etfal Hospital and as a clinical dietitian at Adatepe Kızılay Dispensary and Onur Dialysis Center respectively. In addition, I also worked as a consultant for private healthcare centers. I’ve been working at Private Eren Hospital since 2010. Aydan Atasoy Erin who was also an editorial member of Leylek Maternal and Infant Health Journal for a period is the author of Diyet Hikayeleri (Stories on Dieting).
